receive from the auction houses. A condition report button allows us to view
extremely detailed information for a vehicle including tire tread depths
and damage reports. It's more information than in
a general vehicle page.

Sample Condition Report Notes:
- The Grade is a numerical rating for the
vehicle. Each auction house has it own system. Some use scales from 0 to 5
where 0 is very poor (a vehicle being sold for scrap) and 5 is nearly
perfect, very clean. Some houses use whole numbers; others use fractions.
- The Additional Information section list options
vehicle has not noted elsewhere. Some remarks may show with "NO" meaning
item is missing. E.g. "NO BOOKS" means User Manual and/or
Service Logs are not available or missing.
- Tire Condition or wear is quickly checked by
measuring the depth of the sipes or the grooves in a tire. A new car tire
will have a tread depth of approx. 11/32"; worn out tires will have 2/32".
- Interior Odour reflects the inspectors
assessment. OK means no odour. It may show "mold" or "dog" or "smoke."
- Interior Condition may show "average" or
"dirty."
- The Keys section indicates which keys are
available (master or slave) and shows the number of each.
- Odometer readings are in miles for US vehicles and
kilometres for Canadian.
